new ProFire DI technologies in the new A2 (29-inch) Oliver 474EPII
DI press. The press combines the versatility of Direct Imaging technology
and the capability to run conventional plates. It is a true Hybrid
press. The four-page press is available with a perfector. Presstek's
breakthrough ProFire integrated imaging technology and thermal plates
bring Oliver 474EPII DI customers a more cost-efficient and higher
quality on press solution. The Oliver 474EPII DI press is fully automated,
which makes it ideal for diverse applications like press proofing
and short runs. The Oliver 474EPII DI merges Presstek's new technology
with a revolutionary press design, which enables a high performance
DI press at a more competitive price. The most remarkable feature
of the Sakurai Oliver 474EPII DI is the integration of DI technology
in a user-friendly printing press. An operator familiar only with
analog printing can run the press with minimal instruction. In order
to realize higher labor savings, the SPC (fully automatic plate changing),
QSS (quick standby system – automatic ink density control),
SAS (Sakurai Auto Set – sheet preset device), and CIP3 workstation
are all integrated. The Oliver 474EPII DI press is fully automated,
which makes it ideal for diverse applications.
